Job Description

Position Summary

This armed position reports to the Manager for a high-profile site and involves security duties such as observing and reporting activities, responding to emergencies, controlling access, patrolling, and enforcing regulations to ensure safety and security.

Essential Functions

• Control access to the site, verify visitors, and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Respond to emergencies using appropriate escalation of force, including armed response if necessary.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor entrances/exits, operate security equipment, and patrol the premises.
• Document incidents and prepare reports accurately.
• Report suspicious activities or incidents to appropriate authorities.
• Respond to various emergency situations following established protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship preferred; minimum age 21.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 2 years of armed security/law enforcement experience or honorable service with the US Armed Forces.
• Ability to meet licensing, certification, and background check requirements.
• Knowledge of security operations, ability to communicate clearly, and work effectively in a team.

Additional Requirements

• Physical and mental capacity to perform job functions.
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications, including CPR/AED and First Aid.
