As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public-access areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public service agencies when needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observant patrol practices, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
