Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Lakeland, FL. You will secure client locations, perform armed patrols, and maintain a strong presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and teamwork.

Requirements include at least 1 year of armed security or related experience, a guard card or license preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:30 PM - 08:30 PMFri12:30 PM - 08:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required certifications and follow applicable laws, site procedures, and Allied Universal protocols related to authorized armed duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
