Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Dorchester, MA. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following armed post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Dorchester, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following established armed post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and promptly communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
