Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Morning Shiftin New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $27.60 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
