Allied Universal in Humble, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Driver to safeguard government facilities and other client sites. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while remaining visible and vigilant.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license, an armed guard card, 6 months of related experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Shifts run Daytime 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on multiple days with pay at $18.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees while following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow post orders and protocols.
• Prepare activity logs and incident reports and inform supervisors and agency representatives.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Humble, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations requiring attention, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to supervisors and public agency representatives, and maintain a professional presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
