Qualifications

• California Weapons Permit with a 9mm endorsement.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns and policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a 40 Caliber Endorsement.
• Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
