Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol 40 Caliber in Palo Alto, CA. This full-time role combines driving with front-line protection, delivering customer service, patrolling assigned areas, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents and alarms, documenting observations, monitoring access, and reporting concerns per site procedures.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A 40 caliber endorsement is required.
• A California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
