Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, documenting visitor activity and incidents.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Maintain armed post qualifications and handle equipment per Allied Universal policies and site procedures.

Pay Rate: $17.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 08:52 AM - 04:30 PM; Fri 08:52 AM - 05:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
