Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors while enforcing security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies and disturbances following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interiors, entrances, parking areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unusual situations to leadership.
• Complete incident reports and logs per procedures.

Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
