Pay Rate: $19.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun 05:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, follow applicable laws and company policies for assigned equipment, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
