Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking offices, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public responders when needed.
• Maintain a visible presence while observing access points and monitoring visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
