Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed guard card/license and offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-adjacent areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with post orders, using professional communication and escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and maintain required post equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
