This armed position reports directly to the Manager for a high-profile site and involves a variety of security duties.

You will observe and report activities and incidents at assigned locations, ensuring the security and safety of client property, visitors, and personnel.

As an armed officer, you may respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force, up to and including armed response, as dictated by the situation and protocol.

You will assist in maintaining order and may enforce regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and premises; control access to the site through the admittance process; monitor entrances and exits; and prevent unauthorized or unlawful entry.

Some assignments may involve patrolling the site on foot or in a vehicle, checking for hazards, security violations, or unsafe conditions; protecting evidence or scenes of incidents; and preparing logs or reports. The role may involve stressful situations.

Duties Include:

• Controlling access to the site or facility, preventing unauthorized access, theft, or destruction of assets; assisting visitors; screening individuals for entry.
• Responding to emergencies with appropriate escalation of force, maintaining proficiency with all protective equipment and weapons.
• Providing courteous and respectful interactions to foster a positive environment and present a good image of the client and security team.
• Communicating openly and honestly; providing information about the site as authorized.
• Monitoring entrances and exits; controlling movement and parking; operating gates and remote access devices; managing disturbances.
• Patrolling the site on foot or in vehicle; checking for hazards, violations, or unauthorized persons; inspecting buildings and grounds.
• Securing evidence or incident scenes; setting up barriers and signage; providing directions or information.
• Preparing logs or reports; inspecting security logs and taking necessary actions.
• Reporting incidents or suspicious activities to relevant authorities or management.
• Responding to various incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, etc., following established procedures.
• Performing other related tasks as required for the assigned site.
