• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties through interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and report unusual activity and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties through assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
