Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC to protect clients across government sites and other facilities. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and a safety‑minded, service‑oriented approach.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeters, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, screen and document authorized entry and exit activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with supervisors and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
