Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Carthage, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to work with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable armed-post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and restricted areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities; communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
