As a Security Officer Armed - Medical Facility Access in Denmark, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
