Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Armed Loss Prevention Patrol in Little Rock, AR. You will conduct regular armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and deliver outstanding customer service in a hospital setting.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule (DayTime Fri 2-10 PM, Sat 2-10 PM) with weekly pay and opportunities to advance through Allied Universal’s training

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and first responders.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with traffic, visitor guidance, and other security-related needs in a fast-paced emergency healthcare location.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
