As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area. Pay Rate: $21.55 / Hour

Schedule

Days and times: Saturday 06:00 AM – 01:00 PM; Sunday 06:00 AM – 01:00 PM

What You’ll Do
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
  • Greet and screen individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any unusual observations to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals present at the location.

Minimum Requirements
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable state and/or local laws.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
