Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Fremont, CA to patrol a technology-focused site, deter incidents, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors.

You will perform routine and random patrols, monitor access, verify credentials, and respond to incidents in accordance with site protocols. A concealed carry permit and armed-guard credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• California weapons permit with 9mm endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report access concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site protocols and contact emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol findings and shift activities; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Armed Guard Card Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
