What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor and report on conditions or activities that may impact the security‑related environment of the government facility.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in detailed written reports.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance at any time during the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
