Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Memphis, TN to protect clients across healthcare facilities and other sites. You will conduct routine armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication and a focus on safety and customer service.

This full-time role requires at least two years of security experience, a valid armed guard card, and being 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, addressing medical, behavioral, and security concerns.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical, behavioral, and security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
