Job summary

Allied Universal offers a part-time, armed Security Officer Enhanced role in Atlanta, GA with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include customer service for visitors and staff, armed patrols, incident response, access control, and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain awareness of activity at assigned government locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and notify appropriate personnel of incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time CPR Response Patrol in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue10:00 AM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
