Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Bennettsville, SC. This role offers fixed evening shifts, reliable hours, and a path to build toward a full-time security career with the industry leader.

You will respond to incidents, patrol facilities, monitor access, and provide customer service to clients while following site-specific policies. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• 1 year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Industry security training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete accurate reports and logs.

As a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position in Bennettsville, SC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
