Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for Summerville, SC. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour and the schedule is DayTime Fri 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM.

Ideal candidates are 18+ (21+ for armed roles), have a high school diploma, and can pass background and drug screening. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Summerville, SC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
