Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Armed Front Desk Driver/Intake officer in Orlando, FL. You will staff the front desk at a financial institution, manage visitor access, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an armed guard credential, a valid driver’s license, and prior experience in military/police or armed security. Schedule is part-time with early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Provide professional, welcoming front desk presence and customer service at a financial institution.
• Greet visitors, confirm appointments/credentials, manage visitor access per policies.
• Monitor lobby, alarms, cameras, and report security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident reports.

What You’ll Do

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a financial institution while delivering customer service and supporting site-specific security-related procedures.
• Greet visitors, confirm appointments and/or credentials, manage visitor access processes, and direct guests to appropriate areas in accordance with established policies.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems; report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a respectful, confidential environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
