Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard license/card required.
• HS diploma or GED required by client.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue or collect access badges in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to restricted areas, directing authorized individuals to designated entrances and assisting with visitor processing.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined corrections, law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of armed security
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
