Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Driver Security Officer in Tulsa, OK to protect government locations and provide exceptional service. The role requires an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 21 years old, with full-time scheduling and a starting pay of $21.00 per hour.

As a Security Officer Armed Driver in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and help maintain authorized entry procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrol activities, unusual conditions, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
