As a Security Officer - Armed - DoD Top Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed post, where you will interact with personnel, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the aerospace and defense location and its perimeter.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols for the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Level III Armed Certification is required for armed positions in Texas.
  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • A Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal Security will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
