Position Summary

This armed security position reports directly to the Manager at a high-profile site and involves various security duties. Responsibilities include observing and reporting activities, ensuring the safety of property, visitors, and personnel, and responding to emergencies with appropriate force, including armed response if necessary. You may also be involved in enforcing regulations, controlling access, patrolling the site, and documenting incidents.

Essential Functions

• Control access to the site and assist visitors.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain proficiency with all security equipment and weapons.
• Provide courteous and professional interactions with clients and visitors.
• Monitor entrances/exits and prevent unauthorized access.
• Patrol the site on foot or vehicle, inspecting for hazards and violations.
• Secure evidence and scene of incidents, and prepare reports.
• Report suspicious activities to relevant authorities.
• Respond to various incidents following established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship preferred.
• At least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of two years of armed security/law enforcement experience or honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Meet background, reference, and licensing requirements.
• Ability to meet certification standards for CPR/AED and First Aid.
