Allied Universal® in Auburn, WA is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide security services at a financial institution site. The role offers reliable fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

As an armed security professional, you will conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain shift documentation while upholding site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and customers at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, ATMs, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access, report suspicious activity.
• Maintain patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, coordinating with site contacts.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Auburn, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
• Sat 09:45 AM - 02:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, ATMs, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access, and report suspicious activity or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, while coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
