Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for the Medical Administrative Building in Lafayette, LA. The role involves protecting people and property, delivering security procedures, and responding to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

Candidate requirements include 21+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years security experience), and an active armed license; paid training and benefits are provided. This is a full-time position with weekly pay.

Qualifications

SITE: Medical Administrative Building

LOCATION: Lafayette, LA

POSITION: Armed Security Officer

STARTING PAY: $17.00 / hour / pays weekly

QUALIFICATIONS:

• FORMER MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT WILL RECEIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION
• 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER-REQUIRED FOR ALL ARMED POSITIONS
• ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS
• ABILITY TO WORK OUTDOORS IN THE ELEMENTS- AS NEEDED
• CURRENT ARMED LICENSE - WILL RECEIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION
• 2 YEARS MINIMUM SECURITY EXPERIENCE NEEDED

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
