Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a full-time Security Officer to protect property and provide service and protection to our staff, patients, and visitors. You’ll promote teamwork and uphold the hospital’s mission and values.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; valid state driver’s license (Class E); must obtain Armed Security Officer License from St. Louis County within 60 days of hire. Day-one benefits, competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Driver's license valid in MO; must obtain Armed Security Officer License within 60 days of hire.
• Experience: Prior security or customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Performs the primary function of protecting the interests and property of the hospital or facility of which assigned. Performs the primary function of service and protection to the hospital's or facility's employees, patients and visitors. R esponsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Licensure: Current state driver’s license from state of residence with a minimum Class E type license, Must obtain an Armed Security Officer License from St. Louis County within 60 days of hire
