Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors while upholding the hospital’s values and mission.

You will promote teamwork with the healthcare team and perform duties consistent with hospital policy; must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid armed security license within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Current state driver’s license from state of residence with a minimum Class E type license; Must obtain an Armed Security Officer License within 60 days of hire.

• Provide service and protection to employees, patients and visitors.

Position Summary:

Performs the primary function of protecting the interests and property of the hospital or facility of which assigned. Performs the primary function of service and protection to the hospital's or facility's employees, patients and visitors. R esponsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
