Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol Driver in Baltimore, MD. You will monitor a commercial site, respond to alarms, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 20 pounds. The job features a flexible schedule under the Claim a Shift platform and opportunities for growth within a leading security

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, residents, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe conditions that may require attention; document and communicate security‑related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with visitor access, directions, and general inquiries while maintaining a courteous presence at the location.

This driving position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to alarms and incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
