Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances and perimeter areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and patrol activities per site reporting procedures.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.63 - 21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat: 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including customer areas, entrances, exterior walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by observing and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
