Job Description

As a Security Officer - Airport in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at this government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working collaboratively, and putting people first in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
