Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements as stated: customer service experience preferred, alarm panel experience preferred, access control and badge experience preferred, 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles), high school diploma or equivalent, background check required, drug screen required, licensing may be required, valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident information accurately.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns and required follow-up.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and assist with access control and alarm-related activities. What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident information accurately.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, unusual conditions, and required follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
