Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Seekonk, MA. You will provide customer service, perform site-specific security duties, and conduct patrols at a logistics location with flexible shifts.

The schedule is anchored with a fixed weekly shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts. The role emphasizes reliability, earning potential through extra shifts, and growth toward full-time

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to a background check and drug screening as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle access points, trailers, employee parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and maintain logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, and security concerns through required documentation and channels.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Activity Logging in Seekonk, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle access points, trailers, employee parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly reporting conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security‑related concerns through required documentation and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
