Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for our Access Services team in Fort Worth, Texas. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in a logistics-focused environment.

The role emphasizes safety, situational awareness, and reporting, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to explore additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify entry and exit, and document visitor and contractor activity as required.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and daily activities and share with site leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
