Allied Universal is hiring for a Full Time security position at our Montgomery, Alabama location. The role focuses on access control, monitoring, and safeguarding patients, visitors, staff and vendors within a healthcare setting, adhering to site policies and emergency procedures.

The job requires at least a high school diploma, background check, and a drug screen where permitted by law. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, with shifts on Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 AM

• Conduct regular patrols of entrances and surrounding perimeter; duties may vary by location.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor access, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, unauthorized entry attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
• Maintain awareness of restricted areas, support controlled access to sensitive departments, and follow established protocols for deliveries, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
