• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed to responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and report unusual activity.
• Complete reports and maintain access-control documentation.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will help maintain an orderly environment, report security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct personnel and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the food and beverage facility, including exterior areas, access points, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
