Allied Universal in Saint Joe, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for a part-time, flexible schedule. You will provide customer service at the site, follow security procedures, and patrol production areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Saint Joe, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 10:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 10:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
