As a **Security Officer - Access Control Patrol** in **Sparrows Point, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent unauthorized access, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.

+ Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
