Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Operations Analyst in Boise, ID. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations at a logistics and distribution location.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, document incidents, and escalate concerns per site procedures. This role is full-time, with a daytime to evening schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local rules.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors and employees per site access control procedures.

• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and escalate as needed.
• Conduct patrols of access points and perimeters to spot unusual activity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or unauthorized entry.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and dispatch, complete required reports, and support a secure flow of people and vehicles throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
