Job Description




As a Security Officer - Access Control - Morning Shift in Holland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control procedures, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. You will contribute to a positive workplace culture by acting with integrity, collaborating with your team, and supporting a people-first approach in all interactions throughout the location.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for unusual activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with site management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
