As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at the logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site‑specific procedures; communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
