You will deliver customer service at an automotive manufacturing site, manage entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries per site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate shift activities to Allied Universal leadership.

• Mon: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM


• Fri: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed by site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and vehicle activity, and documenting required entries in accordance with site policies.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.


• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
