Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience (from ad).
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• State/county/city license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining logs, and directing authorized individuals.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorised access and identify security concerns.
• Document incidents and access-control transactions accurately and communicate information during shift handoffs.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and access-control transactions accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
